Chad McCoy

Chad McCoy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy and product development within defense and tactical industries. As Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Firestorm since May 2022, Chad has been instrumental in shaping the company's strategic direction. Prior to this, Chad served as VP of Product Development at LIFELINE® Tactical Rescue Tools from April 2020 to December 2023, and as Director of the AFRL Munitions - Innovation Institute at Doolittle Institute between March 2021 and May 2022. Chad’s military career includes serving as Chief Master Sergeant for the 24th Special Tactics Squadron from March 2003 to April 2021 and as Pararescue (PJ) under Air Combat Command from August 1998 to March 2003. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis from Norwich University.
