Jiyoung Hwang

Jiyoung Hwang is an experienced aerospace professional with a focus on unmanned technology and flight testing. Currently serving as an Advisory Council Member at Sonoran Desert Institute and Lead Flight Test Engineer at Firestorm Labs, Jiyoung has a robust background in leading flight test engineering and operations roles, including significant positions at Soaring and Volansi. Jiyoung has contributed to the development of autonomous drones and overseen various technical initiatives from concept to realization. With a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an Associate degree from Green River College, Jiyoung combines a strong educational foundation with extensive practical experience in aeronautics and engineering.
