Jin Chen

Jin Chen has a diverse professional background in product management and business development. In 2012, they joined Advantech as a Product Manager - Video, where they were responsible for developing product roadmaps, defining features and market positioning, and managing products from concept to launch. They also conducted emerging market research and initiated eco-system partnerships for joint development. During their time at Advantech, they launched over 10 products to accelerate cutting-edge video codec technologies.

In 2017, Jin Chen took on the role of Product Manager & BDM at Advantech, where they successfully identified and penetrated multiple new adjacent markets, including VR, autonomous driving, and game cloud. They also won the first medical project with a 4K HEVC encoding solution and led marketing campaigns to increase product exposure and branding recognition.

In 2018, Jin Chen joined MobiTV as a Senior Product Manager, where they contributed their expertise in product management to the company.

Jin Chen's most recent role is Head of Product, Commerce at Firework, where they are currently employed.

Jin Chen holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, Jin Chen has a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance.
