Firm Transitions is uniquely positioned to assist law firms in addressing the transitions they face. Specifically, the Firm Transitions team provides valuable assistance in strategic planning focused on the demands of the new era, training present and future firm leaders, choosing appropriate technology enhancements, developing and implementing a unified brand in a cost effective manner, and expanding responsibly through lateral placements and mergers.

The legal industry is facing a myriad of forces that are transforming all aspects of the practice of law. Firms are disappearing, whether through failure or merger, in record numbers. The survivors compete aggressively for new business and the best available talent. Clients are demanding that law firms make significantly increased use of available technology. In the midst of these developments, Millenials are on the march. According to the Governance Studies at Brookings, 33% of the workforce will consist of Millenials by 2020 and that number will increase to 75% by 2025.

Our mission is to, "Provide key components of the legal industry with the tools necessary to embrace transformative changes and achieve success throughout the 21st Century."
