Ian Kenison serves as the Media Relations and Storytelling Manager at First Book since January 2021, focusing on effective communications strategies. Previously, as a Senior Account Executive at Widmeyer Communications, Ian managed accounts for early childhood education and K-12 clients, leading national media outreach campaigns. Earlier experience includes roles as a Media Assistant at GMMB, where Ian analyzed media spending during the 2016 election cycle, and as a Communications Intern at Third Way, crafting social media content and analyzing email metrics. Ian also contributed to the New Hampshire Democratic Party as Operations Director and held leadership roles at St. Paul's School Advanced Studies Program. Ian earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a concentration in Law & Society from Kenyon College in 2014.
