Tara Black possesses a diverse background in analysis, coordination, and legal assistance, with notable experience in gang-related crime analysis and data management. Currently serving as a Stay-at-Home Mom since October 2012, Tara has also held positions such as Data and Analysis Coordinator and Recipient Group Coordinator at First Book since June 2010. Previous roles include a Gang/Crime Analyst at ManTech, where responsibilities included the creation of GIS maps, preparation of tactical reports, and liaison work with law enforcement, as well as a Research Intern at the Police Executive Research Forum focusing on national policing issues. Tara's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
