Wendy Lin

Wendy Lin has extensive work experience in finance and product management. Wendy currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at First Book since August 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Director of Product Management at Adtalem Global Education from November 2021 to August 2023.

Wendy also worked at Laureate International Universities for several years, initially as a Finance Manager from August 2011 to December 2012. Wendy then took on roles such as Finance Director from January 2013 to March 2017 and Director of Product Management from April 2017 to September 2019. During their tenure at Laureate, they were instrumental in key strategic initiatives, business development, marketing, and product development.

Before joining Laureate, Wendy gained experience at MedAssurant as the Director of FP&A from April 2010 to September 2011, where they played a crucial role in establishing the FP&A department and developing pricing strategies and financial models.

Wendy's earlier work experience includes positions at Williams Scotsman as a Pricing Analytics Manager from an unknown start date to April 2010, and at Black & Decker as a Senior Finance Manager from August 2007 to November 2008, North America Sourcing Controller from August 2006 to August 2007, and as part of the Financial Development Program Associate from August 2003 to August 2006.

Throughout their career, Wendy has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, strategic planning, product development, and business development.

Wendy Lin received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from National Chengchi University between 1995 and 1999. Following this, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at Penn State University from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, Wendy Lin holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Maryland State Board of Public Accountancy.
