James Freeman is the Managing Director at First West of England, where they oversee a local bus company with approximately 1,800 staff operating in the Bristol, Bath, Wells, and Weston-super-Mare areas. Previously, they served as CEO of Reading Transport Ltd from 2007 to 2014 and held the position of Managing Director at Stagecoach East from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, James was the Non-executive Chairman of The Green Transport Company between 2006 and 2009. James earned a BA Hons in History from the University of Southampton in 1978.
