Stuart Eyre

Stuart Eyre has over 30 years of experience in the public transport sector, beginning as an apprentice fitter at Yorkshire Rider and progressing to various management roles. Currently, Stuart serves as the Engineering Manager for the York Depot and Leeds Hunslet Park at First Bus, overseeing the transition to full electric and carbon neutrality by the end of 2023. Throughout their career, Stuart has completed numerous change projects, including contract management and in-house engineering projects, and has contributed to the engineering management team at FirstGroup plc.
