Andy Tacey

Andy Tacey is an experienced professional in performance management and analysis within the insurance sector. Currently serving as the Director of Performance at First Central since October 2018, Andy reports directly to the Group Chief Claims Officer and focuses on cost efficiency, indemnity control, and achieving customer service targets through targeted performance insights. Prior to this role, Andy worked at Co-op Insurance from February 2000 to September 2018, where responsibilities included managing high-performing analytical teams as the Operations Insight Manager, overseeing insights across various operational areas, and delivering balanced scorecard reporting to the Executive and Board. Andy also held roles as Claims Insight Manager and Claims Insight Consultant, concentrating on claims performance metrics and operational efficiency. Educationally, Andy holds a Bachelor's degree in economics and public policy from Leeds Beckett University and a certificate of higher education in economic and social history from the University of Leeds, complemented by studies at St. Ambrose College and the Chartered Insurance Institute.
