Ben Lowing

Ben Lowing serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Metro Moneywise Credit Union since June 2024. Additionally, Lowing has held various roles at First Central since June 2010, including Risk & Compliance Director and Group Head of Risk & Compliance. In these positions, Lowing has been responsible for overseeing the Second Line Risk & Compliance department across multiple entities in three jurisdictions, focusing on compliance, risk management, data protection, information security, and business continuity. Prior roles include Compliance Officer, Customer Relations Manager, and Group Head of Compliance, where Lowing managed compliance arrangements and developed the Group Compliance Target Operating Model across regulated firms. Lowing holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Southampton.
