Jignash Patel

Jignash Patel holds extensive experience in financial leadership roles within the insurance and finance sectors, currently serving as Group Strategic Finance and Control Director at 1st Central since November 2019, with prior positions including Interim Underwriting Finance Director, Director of Finance Strategy, Group Financial Controller, and Head of Group FP&A. Previously, from February 2019 to November 2019, Jignash worked at Saga plc. as Head of Strategic Projects, Finance, where responsibilities included developing the insurance strategy and participating in board meetings for the personal finance division. Earlier experience at Hastings Direct from May 2012 to January 2019 encompassed roles such as Lead Finance Business Partner, where Jignash was integral to retail revenue management and financial reporting during significant corporate milestones, including an IPO. Jignash Patel is a member of the ACCA and holds a BA(Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Plymouth.
