Michael Kelly

Michael Kelly currently serves as the Director of Underwriting & Assurance at First Central since January 2022. Previously, Michael held various leadership roles at AXA from July 2014 to January 2022, including Head of Underwriting & Fraud - Direct and Head of Counter Fraud, as well as serving as Counter Fraud Manager. Earlier experience includes a position as Counter Fraud Team Leader at AXA Insurance from November 2012 to July 2014 and a role at Swiftcover from November 2011 to November 2012. Michael possesses detailed knowledge of the Personal Lines insurance sector, specializing in Household and Motor Insurance, with a strong focus on making underwriting decisions grounded in fraud detection and prevention. Academic credentials include education from All Hallows, Farnham Surrey, and the University of Surrey.
