Sam Aldridge

Sam Aldridge is an experienced tax and finance professional currently serving as Head of Tax at First Central since March 2024. Previous roles include Head of Tax and Treasury at Oxford Instruments plc and Chief Financial Officer at IPGL LIMITED, where Sam advanced from CFO of the Faro division to a wider group role. Sam's extensive background also features senior positions at CME Group and NEX, leading Tax and Treasury operations, and a significant tenure at ICAP, where responsibilities spanned Global Head of Tax to International Tax Manager. Sam's career began at Deloitte UK in corporate tax, following academic achievements that include an ACA degree from ICAEW and an MChem degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford.
