Christopher Burgess

Christopher Burgess is the Chief Investments Officer at First Circle. Christopher was previously a Fixed Income Trader at Bridgewater Associates from June 2016 to January 2019. Prior to that, they were a Rates Trader at Morgan Stanley from August 2012 to April 2016 where they traded European Government Bonds - Peripheral Debt. Christopher started their career at Morgan Stanley as a Sales and Trading Intern in June 2011 where they completed rotations in Rates Trading, FX Trading, and Equity Derivatives Trading.

Christopher Burgess studied economics and finance at the University of California, Berkeley and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree. Christopher then went on to study economics and mathematics at the University of Canterbury, where they obtained their degree.

Christopher Burgess reports to Patrick Lynch, Co-founder & CEO. Christopher Burgess works with Kevin Candelaria - Product Engineer, Benedict Carandang - VP of External Relations, and Hannah Mae Maitem - Business Support Team Leader.
