Carl Alvarez

Carl Alvarez is an experienced military leader and financial advisor with a comprehensive background in operations and management. Currently serving as Brigade Commander for the 3rd Brigade at the Texas Military Department since October 2013, Carl has previously held various leadership roles, including Deputy Brigade Commander and Deputy Director of Operations. With a career in the United States Air Force spanning from January 1998 to September 2013, Carl served as Law Enforcement Director where responsibilities included managing Security Forces and ensuring operational efficiency. Additionally, Carl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in History from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and has completed advanced military education at Air War College and other prestigious military institutions. Carl has also been a Financial Advisor at First Command Financial Services since February 2014.
