Daniel Tomlinson, CFP®, RICP®, serves as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Financial Advisor at First Command Financial Services since January 2012, specializing in financial planning for working Americans. Previously, Daniel held various leadership roles in the U.S. Army, including Colonel and Advisor at the Department of State, where advisory responsibilities encompassed defense and military policy for 34 nations. Additional experience includes managing special operations programs in Afghanistan, providing strategic advice at the National Security Council, and leading military advisory teams in Colombia. Daniel's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Strategy from the National War College, a Master of Arts in International Relations from UC San Diego, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Siena University.
