Ryan Barnes

Ryan Barnes has a diverse work experience in the banking and sales industries. Ryan started their career in 2005 as a Sales Representative at Univar USA. In 2008, they joined Synovus Bank as a Retail Banker and eventually became a Branch Manager until 2011. From 2011 to 2017, Ryan worked at Business Development Corporation as a Vice President and Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager, where they managed the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) commercial lending program. During this time, they successfully closed over 150 commercial transactions, resulting in over $120 million in new loans for small businesses. In 2017, Ryan joined CresCom Bank and First Community Bank of South Carolina as a Vice President and Commercial Banker. Later in January 2022, they were promoted to the role of Vice President Credit Administration at First Community Bank of South Carolina. Ryan has proven expertise in commercial banking, credit administration, and portfolio management throughout their career.

Ryan Barnes attended the University of South Carolina from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration.
