Trey Werner

Trey Werner has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. Trey is currently serving as the Senior Vice President / Market President at First Community Bank of South Carolina since October 2019. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Commercial Banker-Vice President at the same bank from March 2016 to October 2019. Trey also has experience working at United Community Bank as a Commercial Relationship Manager-Vice President from September 2015 to March 2016. Before that, they worked at The Palmetto Bank as a Commercial Relationship Manager-Vice President from January 2006 to September 2015. Trey started their career at Regions Bank as a Commercial Loan Officer from July 2002 to January 2006. Trey also worked at Carolina First Bank as a Branch Manager/Commercial Lender from March 1998 to July 2002, and at Wachovia Bank as a Branch Manager from January 1996 to March 1998.

Trey Werner obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Economics from Clemson University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. After a gap in education, they went on to pursue a Graduate Degree in Banking from The Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Trey completed their studies at LSU from 2007 to 2009.
