Ryan Preston

Ryan Preston has extensive experience in finance leadership, currently serving as Group CFO at FD Technologies since January 2020, with previous roles as Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Prior to FD Technologies, Ryan held the position of Interim Retail CFO at OVO Energy and served as Group CFO at Independent News & Media from December 2014 to May 2019. Ryan's career began at Tesco, where a variety of roles spanned nearly two decades, including Group Finance Director for Europe and CFO for the Island of Ireland. Educationally, Ryan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Ulster University between 1992 and 1995.
