Simon Smyth

Simon Smyth is an experienced professional in finance and technology, currently serving as a Trade Surveillance Business Analyst at First Derivative since June 2019, where Simon specializes as a subject matter expert on the client's in-house Trade Surveillance application. Prior to this role, Simon held various positions at First Derivative, including Financial Engineer since July 2007, and was a Senior Software Developer at Allstate from February 2005 to July 2007. Simon began a career in software development at Enigma from September 2002 to February 2005, contributing to the growth of a startup. Simon holds a BA in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (hons) from Trinity College Dublin, graduated in 2001.
