John Scull, MBA

John Scull, MBA, has a diverse range of work experience. John currently serves as a Client Success Manager at First Due since February 2023. Prior to this role, John worked at MegaCorp Logistics as a National Logistics Manager from January 2022 to February 2023.

John also has extensive experience in the public service sector. John served in the Wrightsville Beach Fire Department as a Captain from June 2017 to January 2022, transitioning to the role of Volunteer Captain during this time. John began their tenure in the department as a Firefighter in January 2012 and later advanced to the position of Lieutenant from May 2018 to May 2021.

In addition to their firefighting roles, John has a background in water rescue as a Lifeguard at Wrightsville Beach Ocean Rescue since May 2011. John has also served as a Firefighter with the Town of Surf City from December 2016 to July 2018 and as a Firefighter Apparatus Operator with New Hanover County Fire Rescue from September 2013 to November 2016.

Furthermore, John has experience outside of the public sector. John worked as a CPR Instructor at the American Heart Association starting in June 2014. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Vice President of Sales at Virginia Transfer & Storage from September 2008 to December 2010.

John began their career as a Management Trainee at HawkTree International in October 2004. During their time there, they supported various departments, including assisting the President with projects, providing customer service, and assisting the IT and Process Improvement departments.

John Scull completed their high school education at Bruton High School, where they received a diploma in 2000. Additionally, they attended Radford High School in 1996 and 1997. Apart from their formal education, John Scull has also obtained additional certifications, including an Advanced EMT certification from NC OEMS in June 2018 and CPR & AED certification from the American Heart Association in November 2014. John also possesses a Commercial Driver's License (Truck And Bus Operator), obtained from NC DMV.
