Xiling Zou has a diverse range of work experience. In 2019, they worked as an Investment Analyst Assistant at TAIHAO Technology Co., ltd., where they participated in negotiations, conducted research, and completed due diligence reports. In 2020, they were a Data Science Intern at CITIC Securities Company Limited. They then worked at the University of Pennsylvania in 2022, serving as a Teaching Assistant for Big Data Analytics and as an Engineering Master's Advisory Board Ambassador. Additionally, in 2022, they were a Technical Lead at Wharton Analytics Fellows, where they led a team in building funding recommendation models, utilized SQL to build ETL pipelines, visualized data using geopandas, performed text clustering, and built a Random Forest classification model. Xiling Zou obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Data Science from the University of Pennsylvania, studying from 2021 to 2023.

Prior to that, Xiling Zou earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Southeast University, studying from 2017 to 2021. During their undergraduate studies, Xiling Zou also attended the University of California, Berkeley for a brief period in 2019 to study Mathematics and Statistics.

Before entering university, Xiling Zou completed their high school education at The Attached Middle School To Jiangxi Normal University, graduating with a High School Diploma in 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Xiling Zou obtained several certifications, including Machine Learning from Coursera (completed in January 2022), Customer Analytics and A/B Testing in Python from DataCamp (completed in December 2021), SQL for Data Science from Coursera (completed in November 2021), and Intermediate Machine Learning from Kaggle (completed in August 2021). Xiling Zou was also selected for the 2020 Next Exceptional X Talent Program by Google in August 2020.
