Robert Klinko

Robert Klinko has over 25 years of work experience in various banking and finance roles. Robert is currently the SVP and Head of Underwriting & Portfolio Management at First Horizon Bank. Prior to this, they worked at Fifth Third Bank as the SVP and Senior Credit Officer, handling Consumer/Retail Commercial Finance and Restaurant & Beverage Finance. Before that, they were associated with GE Capital, where they served as the Managing Director - Central Region Credit Officer, Franchise Finance, Vice President - Structured Finance, Franchise Finance, and Assistant Vice President - Mid-Ticket Risk Manager, Franchise Finance. Robert also worked at M&T Bank, holding positions such as Vice President - Small Business Credit Team Leader, Assistant Vice President - Small Business Underwriter, Bank Officer - Equipment Leasing Underwriter, and Assistant Manager - Airport Plaza Office.

Robert Klinko pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 1995, they attended St. John Fisher University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Following this, they enrolled at St. Bonaventure University from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Accounting/Finance.

In addition to their formal education, Robert Klinko also obtained a certification titled "The Good Life: Lessons from the Longest Study on Happiness (Book Bite)" from LinkedIn in June 2023.
