Sam Erwin has extensive experience in banking and financial management, currently serving as the Mid Atlantic Regional President for First Horizon Bank / IBERIABANK since July 2021. Prior to this role, Sam held the position of Executive Vice President and Regional President of South Carolina at IBERIABANK from December 2016 to July 2021. Earlier career highlights include serving as Regional President and CEO of South Carolina at United Community Bank, Chairman, President & CEO at The Palmetto Bank, and CEO at Community Bankshares, Inc. Additionally, Sam has a solid foundation in banking, having worked as a Senior Vice President at First Union. Sam earned a BS in Financial Management from the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University.
