Jay Mitchell is currently the State President for Eastern South Dakota at First Interstate, a position held since 2022. Prior to this role, Jay served as the SVP and Business Banking Manager at Great Western Bank from 2006 to 2022. Jay also held the titles of Sioux Empire Market President and SVP of the Commercial Group during their tenure at Great Western Bank. Jay earned a degree in Business Economics from South Dakota State University, where they studied from 2002 to 2005.
