Jay Thaler

Jay Thaler is currently the bank president at First Interstate and serves as an elected member of the City Council in Vermillion, SD. With over a decade of management experience, Jay has held various leadership roles in retail banking, including a position as manager at Bank of the West and branch manager at Wells Fargo. Throughout their career, Jay has demonstrated a strong commitment to team development and consistently exceeded performance metrics in service quality and sales. Jay also has experience in farming and real estate, currently managing rental properties through RT Capital. They are pursuing degrees in Computer Science and Psychology at the University of South Dakota.
