Patrick Truman

Patrick Truman has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Patrick started their career as a Head Brewer/Brewer's Assistant at R&B Brewing Company, where they were responsible for brewing, transferring, filtering, and packaging beer at a commercial level. Patrick then worked as a Researcher at Simon Fraser University, heading up the Silver Surfers research project that focused on ICT use among older adults in rural areas. Patrick then served as a Web Content and Social Media Coordinator at the Centre for Digital Media at Great Northern Way Campus, where they developed and implemented a social media strategy and produced content for the organization's website and marketing campaigns. Patrick then joined Brewingwork.com as a Business Development Manager, and later transitioned to First Key Consulting Inc., where they held multiple roles, including Director of Corporate Operations and Digital Strategy and Communications. In these roles, Patrick was responsible for developing and implementing operating systems and project delivery, facilitating process improvement initiatives, overseeing knowledge management, and collaborating with practice groups to serve clients.

Patrick Truman completed their Master's degree in Digital Media at the Centre for Digital Media from 2012 to 2013. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Simon Fraser University, from 2006 to 2011.
