Arik Kerman

EVP Programming and Operations, BabyFirst, So Yummy TV at First Media US

Arik Kerman began their work experience in 1997 as a Vice President of Productions at Hamon Productions Ltd. Arik held this position until 2001. In 2003, they joined Hop! Channel as a VP of Productions for a year.

In 2005, Arik joined First Media US as the EVP of Programming and Operations. Arik played a key role in devising and implementing media and technology strategies, driving alignment and growth within the organization. Arik also built and managed First Media's Israeli subsidiary, scaling the team from 5 employees to over 50 members and contractors. Additionally, they led annual budget planning, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control. Arik's tenure at First Media US continued until 2010, during which time they also served as the Senior VP of Programming and Operations.

In 2009, Arik took on a new role as a Lecturer at The School of Media Studies, where they taught until 2013.

Arik Kerman holds a Master of Business Administration in General Management from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Management from The New School of Media Studies in Tel Aviv, Israel. In addition to their formal education, Arik holds certifications as a Business Mentor from HaTahla HaHasha (The Next Step) and in the Directors and Senior Officers Course from Tel-Aviv University - Lahav Executive Education. The year of completion for their certifications is not provided for Business Mentor but they completed the Directors and Senior Officers Course in 2019.
