Patrick Berghoff

Patrick Berghoff has extensive experience in the banking industry, beginning as a lender at Huntington National Bank from 1988 to 2005, where responsibilities included lending to commercial banking, automotive dealers, and private banking, alongside branch management and commercial workout. From 2005 to 2007, Patrick served as a lender at Fifth Third Bank, focusing on originating and managing a portfolio of private banking and commercial customers. Following a role as President of the Noblesville School Board from July 2010 to December 2014, where oversight of operations and quality education for approximately 10,000 students was prioritized, Patrick has been with First Merchants Corporation since September 2007 as a Relationship Manager for Corporate Special Assets, addressing challenges faced by corporate borrowers while previously managing commercial and real estate loans. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington, earned between 1983 and 1987, and completed college preparatory studies at Bishop Dwenger High School from 1979 to 1983.
