The First Presbyterian Church is one of the Christian churches in downtown Charleston, West Virginia, within walking distance of the West Virginia Capital Grounds.

As a church in the state capital of West Virginia, our legacy is offering meaningful worship for all, excellent programming for children and families (including our private licensed preschool), and serving the Charleston community through mission, outreach and community involvement.

“First Presby” enjoys connecting people in friendship, mission, and study.  It is our hope to share the love of God with our friends and neighbors downtown, and throughout the Kanawha Valley.
