Alicia Merchant

Alicia Merchant is an experienced professional in the literary and editorial field, currently serving as the Premier at WRITE CLUB Toronto since July 2012, where literature is combined with charitable contributions. As a co-organizer and creator of Raconteurs, a monthly storytelling event in Toronto since April 2010, Alicia fosters community engagement through narrative. Additionally, Alicia has held positions as a Production Editor at First Reference Inc. and a Fact Checker at Zoomer Magazine. Previous writing contributions include a role as a Contributing Writer for 29secrets.ca and a Freelance Writer/Editor for Colbourne. Alicia holds a Diploma in Magazine Publishing from Ryerson University and an Hon. BA in English Literature and Professional Writing from Concordia University.
