First Response Therapy PLLC is a group therapy practice located in New Lenox, Illinois, founded by Jessica Galvan, LCPC. The practice was created to provide specialized, trauma-informed mental health care for first responders and civilians experiencing anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges.

As the spouse of a firefighter, Jessica understands the unique stressors and emotional demands that first responders face both on and off the job. This personal connection inspired her to build a practice where firefighters, police officers, EMS professionals, dispatchers, and other emergency personnel can access therapy in a space where their experiences are understood and respected.

In addition to working with first responders, the clinicians at First Response Therapy PLLC support civilians navigating anxiety, traumatic experiences, stress, and relationship difficulties. The team is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and confidential environment where clients can process difficult experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and work toward meaningful change.

Clinicians at First Response Therapy PLLC use evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

The practice offers both in-person sessions in New Lenox and secure virtual therapy services for clients throughout Illinois. First Response Therapy PLLC is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Aetna, and United Healthcare and proudly serves individuals and families in New Lenox, Joliet, Frankfort, Mokena, Manhattan, and surrounding communities.
