Andrei Los

Andrei Los is a highly experienced professional in the field of semiconductor technology and research. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Emerging Technologies at First Solar since July 2011, Andrei has held various positions, including Senior Member of Technical Staff and Staff Engineer in Device Physics. Prior to this role, Andrei spent over seven years at Freescale Semiconductor Inc. as a Staff Research Engineer and Group Leader, where an award-winning integrated circuit project was created, and a high-resolution electron microscopy lab was established. Research achievements also include work in spintronics and magnetic properties of diluted magnetic semiconductors at the Institute of Magnetism and theoretical and experimental studies at Mississippi State University. Academic credentials include a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University and a Candidate of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics from the Institute of Semiconductor Physics, along with an engineering degree in Electronics from the National Technical University of Ukraine.
