Christopher Baker

Christopher Baker has extensive experience in the solar energy industry, having held various roles at First Solar. Christopher began as a Manager in Process Development in 2008 and later became the Director of Process Development and Module Engineering. Christopher then served as the Director of Manufacturing Engineering before becoming the Head of Emerging Technology.

In addition to their work at First Solar, Christopher also worked at Intel for several years. Christopher started as a Senior Process Development Engineer and Module Owner, responsible for the development and ramp of back end etch dual damascene processes. Later, they became the Group Leader for interconnect plasma etching, where they oversaw the transfer of new node technology to high volume manufacturing.

Most recently, Christopher has joined Halio, Inc. as the Senior Director of Engineering.

Christopher Baker received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Miami University from 1993 to 1998. Christopher then pursued a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati from 1998 to 2003. Later, Christopher pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management at Bowling Green State University from 2014 to 2016.
