David Miller

David Miller is a PhD candidate in the Physics Department at the University of Oregon, with a comprehensive background in research and engineering. Experience includes serving as Project Technology Lead at Hunt Perovskite Technologies, Senior Test Engineer and Device Physicist at HEE Solar, and Development Engineer roles at First Solar. Previously, David was a Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Oregon, focusing on Transient Photocapacitance and Photocurrent spectroscopy techniques. Additional research experience includes time as a Fulbright Grantee at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, where work centered on FU-Orionis type young stellar objects and data processing for infrared telescopes. David has also held a position as a National Center for Photovoltaics Graduate Research Fellow at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, developing measurement systems for thin-film photovoltaic devices. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Louisville and a PhD in Physics from the University of Oregon.
