Hock Seng Sim

Hock Seng Sim has worked at First Solar since 2016, starting as a Senior Manager in Manufacturing Engineering and then becoming the Head of Manufacturing Engineering NPI Global. Currently, Hock Seng Sim is still employed at First Solar in the Head Manufacturing Engineering NPI Global role. Before joining First Solar, Hock Seng Sim worked at Lam Research Singapore Pte Ltd as a Field Service Manager from 2000 to 2008. Additionally, Hock Seng Sim has held the position of Manager Corporate Engineering Equipment, APAC at First Solar since an unknown start date, but will be ending in 2023.

Hock Seng Sim earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Malaya, which they attended from 1995 to 1999. Hock Seng subsequently pursued a Master of Business Administration in General Studies from the University of Science Malaysia, completing their degree from 2004 to 2006.
