Sujoy Ghosh

Sujoy Ghosh has more than three decades of work experience in various roles and companies. SUJOY started their career in 1990 at Tata Honeywell Limited as a Senior Manager in sales, where they managed key accounts in power generation and oil and gas downstream segments. In 2003, they joined GE Energy as a General Manager in Power & Water Sales, responsible for business development and sales of power generation equipment in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

In 2012, Ghosh moved to First Solar and served as the Country Head of India, overseeing the company's operations in the country until 2018. SUJOY then became the Vice President for the India & Middle East Region until 2020 and subsequently the Vice President for the India & APAC Region until 2021. In their most recent role at First Solar, Ghosh was the Vice President and Country Managing Director for India, leading the establishment of the company's solar PV module manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu and developing the organization to run a globally competitive PV manufacturing operation.

From 1984 to 1988, Sujoy Ghosh studied Electrical Engineering at the YMCA Institute of Engineering. SUJOY completed a 4-year Post Diploma program during this time.
