Since 1995, First State Auctions has been Australia's most trusted auction house for pre-loved luxury accessories. In that time, the company has built a reputation grounded in expertise, integrity, and results, connecting sellers with a global audience of engaged buyers across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.

First State Auctions specialises in the authentication and sale of luxury accessories through weekly online auctions, including fine jewellery, Swiss timepieces, and designer handbags from the world's most recognised maisons.

Every item is carefully assessed and presented by an in-house team of qualified gemmologists, horologists, and maison verification experts with over 100 years of combined experience. Using advanced laboratory technology and instrumentation, the team guarantees the authenticity and accurate description of each piece, giving buyers the confidence to bid and sellers the platform to achieve the best possible outcome.

With deep relationships across private sellers, collectors, estates, and institutional partners, First State Auctions is also trusted by Commonwealth of Australia government departments to manage the sale of forfeited luxury assets.

We believe luxury should be exciting and accessible, blending the thrill of discovery with rigorous expert verification, week after week.
