David Goodman, CFA, serves as the Lead Economist and Portfolio Manager at Aware Super since November 2019, focusing on macro-economic forecasts and strategic economic research while communicating investment strategies to stakeholders. Prior to this, David held positions at Coolabah Capital Investments as an Associate Portfolio Manager and Consultant, delivering analytical credit research, particularly in RMBS. David's extensive experience includes leadership roles at Westpac, where responsibilities included directing the Macro Strategy Group and the Global Capital Markets Strategy team, as well as managing the ABS Strategy team. Earlier experience includes roles as a Risk Analyst at HSBC and an Analyst at the Department of the Treasury. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Business Economics from UNSW.
