Tom Mort

Tom Mort is an experienced investment analyst currently working at Aware Super since November 2021, specializing in credit analysis for an Australian industry super fund managing approximately A$150 billion in funds under management. Prior to this role, Tom served as Associate Director at OakNorth Bank from November 2018 to July 2021, focusing on strategies to manage credit losses in the bank’s leveraged loan portfolio, and held various positions including Associate in both workouts and recoveries and debt finance origination. Earlier experience includes a tenure at National Australia Bank from January 2015 to June 2018, where Tom managed SME Agribusiness clients, originating and structuring loans, and performed credit analysis. Tom holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics with a Finance specialization from the University of Sydney and has a background in various roles at the Northern Suburbs Basketball Association.
