Young Tan

Young Tan is an experienced actuary currently serving as an Investment and Retirement Actuary at Aware Super since November 2022. Prior to this role, Young held multiple positions at UniSuper from October 2016 to October 2022, including Manager of Actuarial & Research and Product Actuary. Young's career in the field began at Russell Investments, where roles included Consulting Analyst and Actuarial Analyst from October 2011 to October 2016. Young holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Actuarial Studies from the University of Melbourne, in addition to a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from RMIT University. Young is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA), having completed the credentialing process with the Actuaries Institute from 2012 to 2016.
