John Sakoian

John Sakoian is the owner of Command Excellence™ LLC and serves as the First Tactical Director, as well as a partner with The Center for Applied Learning, an affiliate of American Military University and American Public University Systems. Since 2011, John has developed and instructed Active Shooter and Multi-Hazard training programs for over 1,200 police officers, more than 2,500 educators, and over 200 commercial settings. Prior to this, John retired as a Lieutenant after 39 years with the Upper St Clair Police Department, where they gained extensive experience in tactical command. John holds a degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has been recognized for their work with multiple grants for training initiatives.
