Brandon Baker

Brandon Baker is the Owner and Founder of State of Golf NC, an innovative multisport simulator bar set to open in downtown Durham in May 2024, featuring advanced technology for immersive virtual sports experiences. As President and CEO of First Tee — Triangle since April 2010, Brandon has provided strategic leadership, significantly increased program participation, and managed life skills programs across multiple locations. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Executive Director at First Tee of Howard County and Program Director at YMCA, where Brandon demonstrated strong operational and budget management skills. Brandon holds a Master of Science in Sports Leadership and a B.S. in Recreation, Parks, and Sports Management from Virginia Commonwealth University.
