Kendra Smiley currently serves as the Phoenix North Regional Director at First Things First since August 2023, following a significant tenure as the Statewide Family Engagement Director at the National Center for Families Learning from January 2019 to August 2023. Since August 2015, Kendra has also been a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University. Previous roles include Senior Literacy Program Manager at Southwest Human Development and Pre-K Teacher at All Saints' Episcopal Day School, where responsibilities included program oversight, staff supervision, and curriculum development. Kendra holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from Arizona State University.
