Jeff Vines

Jeff Vines currently serves as the Director of SOX and Governance at FirstBank, where responsibilities include leading Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance and Finance governance since May 2022. Previously, Vines was the Finance Governance & Oversight Second Line of Defense Manager at PNC, overseeing compliance efforts following the integration of BBVA Compass. Vines spent two decades at BBVA Compass in various roles including Director of SOX Internal Controls and SVP and Group Audit Manager. Additionally, Vines served in multiple leadership positions within the Birmingham Chapter of The Institute of Internal Auditors from 2008 to 2013, including President and Conference Committee Chairperson. Educational credentials include an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Accounting from The University of Alabama.
