John Sharp

John Sharp has over 19 years of experience in the banking industry. John started their career at First American/AmSouth Bank as a Vice President, Middle Market Relationship Manager from August 1998 to December 2001. John then joined Union Planters Bank as a Senior Vice President, Large Corporate Banking from December 2001 to February 2003. After that, they worked at Fifth Third Bank as a Vice President, Trade Finance from March 2003 to June 2017, where they were responsible for trade finance deals in multiple states. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President at FirstBank since August 2017.

John Sharp graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Technology. In 2005, they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Financial Economics from Middle Tennessee State University. Additionally, they hold the certification of Certified Treasury Professional from the Association of Financial Professionals, which they obtained in July 2005.
