Tiina Hoffman

Tiina Hoffman is an experienced Exercise Physiologist and Master Trainer at Firstbeat Technologies since February 2008, specializing in training wellness professionals globally in the use of heart rate variability-based tools. Prior to this role, Tiina was a Project Researcher at the University of Jyväskylä from 2003 to 2009, involved in research examining HRV measurement methods in occupational rehabilitation settings. Tiina's earlier experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at KIHU - Research Institute for Olympic Sports from 1993 to 1999, where the focus was on monitoring athletes' training and overtraining through autonomic nervous system tests. Additionally, Tiina was the XC-skiing coach at the University of Alaska, Anchorage, from 1988 to 1992. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Jyväskylä and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
