Michael Simpkins is an experienced project manager and systems engineer with a career spanning over 15 years in the transportation and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Firstco since December 2005, Michael has held various key roles, including Design Manager for the FLO Northern Line Extension project and Senior Systems Engineer for multiple projects at Heathrow Airport, such as the APOC fire SCADA systems and the Terminal 2 systems integration. Michael's expertise includes the design and implementation of security and communications systems at both Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Michael holds a BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Portsmouth.
