Chinmay Palekar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Chinmay started their career as a Client Servicing Trainee at RMG David Communications, where they were responsible for account management, business development, and account planning. Chinmay then worked as a Summer Intern at Citifinancial Consumer Finance India Ltd.
From 2007 to 2010, Chinmay joined Tata Teleservices as a Retail Manager. During their tenure, they played a key role in establishing the Modern Trade sector, handling buying, inventory management, and operations for over 550 company-run stores. Chinmay also served as a Key Account Manager, where they successfully set up Modern Trade from scratch and secured significant accounts.
In 2010, Chinmay moved to AkzoNobel, where they served as a Branch Sales Manager and later as a Regional Head. Chinmay gained experience in sales and management in the paint industry.
In 2013, Chinmay joined Samsung Electronics as a National Key Account Manager, responsible for managing major accounts. Chinmay later transitioned to the role of Product Marketing Manager, overseeing marketing strategies and activities.
Most recently, since 2020, Chinmay has been working at FirstCry.com (BrainBees Solutions Pvt. Ltd.), first as the Head of FirstCry Parenting and currently as the Head of Online Marketing & Partnerships.
Throughout their career, Chinmay has demonstrated versatility and a strong track record of successfully taking on different roles and responsibilities in sales, marketing, and account management.
Chinmay Palekar attended Rose Manor Garden School from 1995 to 1998, where they completed their high school education. Chinmay then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree at Mithibai College from 1998 to 2003. Later, from 2005 to 2007, they attended MICA | The School of Ideas and obtained a PGDM degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General.
